OUR GOALS:

We will incorporate the support of local churches, community members and corporations to help Damascus Road Ministries assist those in need. We will help those in need become productive citizens in our community through vocational training, life skills training and a sense of spiritual well-being. This will lead to a desire to give back to the community and spread the spiritual message that provides a fulfilled life.

Damascus Road Ministries will provide people with life-controlling addictions a safe place to stay while they receive the help and training they need to redirect their lives and develop a relationship with a mentor.

Our live-in discipleship training is designed to equip those who graduate to live free from life-controlling addictions. Those who successfully complete the program and apply the spiritual principles learned will enjoy a new life as constructive, productive members of society.

Damascus Road Ministries (DRM) will be going before the City of Coldwater Planning Commission Monday 1/7/13 @ 5:30 PM for final approval for our first planned Homeless Shelter with a structured program. Please keep us in your prayers or show up for support. It will be at City of Coldwater City Hall.

Damascus Road Ministries We have located a building for our Homeless Shelter 62 Division St (formerly Q1 Video) and we are waiting for approval from the City of Coldwater, MI on 1/7/13. Once it is approved we will have a press release and a Community Forum...Stay tuned.
We are getting calls almost daily from people that are homeless or about to be homeless.

We are asking for donations to get the shelter opened. Please go to www.damascusroadmi.org and donate..All donations are tax deductible.

5/5/12 3:30 PM DRM has secured a location for our restaurant and will make the announcement of opening date soon. We will offer free meals to those in need and will need the help of the community to accomplish this.

4/2/12 5:30 PM DRM is holding community forums to share the progress of Damascus Road Center purchase the next meeting will be announced soon.
