Damascus Road Ministry of Branch County

News Update: July 13, 2014

DRM is excited about all the things God is doing in Branch County through our newly opened facility  The C. A. L. L. Center (Coldwater Area Life Learning Center). We opened our doors June 1st 2014 for office use, mentoring, meetings and outside client services. We are not permitted any residential services ( overnight stays) until we have our sprinkler system. We are conducting intakes and need assessments for walk-in clients and providing basic emergency services. These services include housing placement (in current available shelters in Coldwater, Battle Creek. Kalamazoo and Jackson Michigan), substance abuse assessment, agency assistance and also food and other basic needs.

We are housing six men in a temporary location who are taking part in our program. In the short time we have been open we are seeing lives transformed with renewed hope.

With your generous donations we have been able to maintain the basic needs of the shelter and offer services to more than 30 men,  5 women and 3 families. We have also donated over 500 hours of community service to different organizations.

We will be doing intakes for outside client services and as soon as we get a sprinkler system installed we will start intakes for housing.
